Yes. Families are encouraged to visit Liberty Care Home before deciding.

A tour gives you the opportunity to see the environment, inspect the available accommodation, meet members of the team and ask questions about your loved one’s care.

Visits should be arranged in advance so that a member of staff is available to show you around properly.

We support older adults who can no longer live safely or comfortably without regular assistance, supervision or companionship.

This may include people who:

• Live alone and are becoming increasingly vulnerable
• Need help with personal care or daily routines
• Require regular medication support
• Have reduced mobility
• Are living with dementia or memory loss
• Need companionship and structured daily support
• Have family members who live in another city or outside Nigeria
• Can no longer be adequately supported through informal or unreliable care arrangements

Every prospective resident is assessed individually so that we can determine whether Liberty Care Home can safely meet their needs.

Yes. Liberty Care Home provides 24-hour residential support to residents within the facility.

The level of assistance each resident receives will depend on their individual care assessment and agreed care plan.

Office and enquiry-line opening hours may differ from the hours during which residential care is provided.

Depending on the resident’s assessed needs and chosen care arrangement, support may include:

• Comfortable residential accommodation
• 24-hour supervision and support
• Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Medication reminders or assistance
• Nutritious meals and refreshments
• Mobility and transfer support
• Companionship and emotional support
• Laundry and housekeeping
• Structured activities and social engagement
• Dementia care
• Family communication and progress updates
• Support with appointments and external healthcare coordination

Liberty Care Home assesses every person individually before admission.

We may be unable to accept or continue caring for someone whose needs require treatment, equipment, staffing or clinical supervision beyond what the facility is authorised and equipped to provide.

This may include people who:

• Are acutely or critically ill
• Require hospital-level treatment
• Have an uncontrolled infectious or contagious condition
• Require continuous specialist nursing or medical intervention that the home cannot provide
• Present risks that cannot be safely managed within the facility

Please speak with our team about your loved one’s condition before making arrangements.

Families living outside Nigeria may receive agreed updates about their loved one’s well-being, care and significant changes.

Depending on Liberty’s confirmed communication policy, updates may be provided through phone calls, WhatsApp, email or scheduled video calls.

The frequency and type of updates should be agreed during admission, while respecting the resident’s consent, privacy and confidentiality.

Activities should be appropriate to each resident’s interests, abilities and health needs.

These may include conversation, music, light exercise, reading, games, television, crafts, worship, outdoor relaxation, celebrations and supervised social activities.

The purpose is not simply to keep residents occupied. Activities should support companionship, confidence, memory, movement and quality of life.

Fees depend on several factors, including:

• The type of accommodation
• The resident’s level of care
• Whether dementia or enhanced support is required
• Medication and mobility needs
• Length of stay
• Additional services requested
